Don’t Worry Darling 2022
Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) are fortunate to live in the ideal society of Victory, the experimental company town that houses the men and their families working for the top-secret Victory Project. The societal optimism of the 1950s, embraced by their CEO, Frank (Chris Pine), a corporate visionary and motivational life coach, seeps into every aspect of daily life in a close-knit desert utopia. While the men work on “innovative material development” every day at Project Victory Headquarters, their wives – including Frank’s gracious partner Shelley (Gemma Chan) – spend their time enjoying the beauty, luxury and debauchery of their community. Life is perfect as the needs of every resident are met by the company. All they ask in return is secrecy and unquestioned loyalty to the Victory cause. But when the cracks in her peaceful life begin to reveal glimpses of something far more sinister lurking beneath her attractive exterior, Alice can’t help but question what exactly they are doing at Victory and why. How much can Alice afford to lose to find out what’s really going on in this paradise?
